Visiting family outside of Augusta with a friend who wants to go to Savannah for a few days. Recommendations on things to do?

It depends on what you like to do but:
- Bonaventure Cemetery, especially if the azaleas are blooming
- Wormsloe Plantation, has the longest live oak lined road in America I think
- Tybee Island
- Fort Pulaski
- River St. & Bay St., lots of bars and places to eat
- Just walk around in the area between Franklin Square & Ellis Square, more restaurants & bars
- The various other squares and Forsythe park
- Museum of the 8th Air Force
- Take a trolley tour, it is an efficient way to see a lot of the city and then you can go back to see more of what you like.

Definitely Tybee and Ft. Pulaski. Lots of good food there too.

A few days in Savannah is too much, but I guess it's better than spending those days in Augusta. If it's not oppressively hot, I enjoyed just walking around downtown taking in all the pretty architecture and parks/squares. A couple of neat old cemeteries there as well.

Hilton Head Island isn't too far and is a cool place to drive around. If it's this time of year, there will be tons of midwestern snowbirds there.
