What’s the possibility of landing Smith? What’s the feel on him and who are we worried about...... don’t wanna just assume he’s from Louisiana and he’s automatically a tiger.

He’s from ‘Bayou Country’, and plays at a position most closely associated with our HC. So that certainly helps.

I hate to say it, but I think we’ve lost out on the Williams sweepstakes the minute Brady left. His Instagram has started involving LSU less and less.

Some big time prospects got significant drops in their latest update, particularly Landon Jackson and Savion Byrd.
It’s also interesting they still don’t have a profile for Peyton Todd, unless I’m looking in the wrong place.

Jackson I get. His film shows a tremendous amount of rawness. The Byrd excuse was bullshite. He didn't play OT this year(DL) and was a bit rusty working at OL during one of the camps recently. It's all about upside with Byrd and it's not like they didn't know that. His upside hasn't changed just his position because the coaches asked him to. I'll gladly take him. Jackson to

Smith is from Houma. It is a bit farther south than Thibodaux. Might not seem like a lot, but in this area it is a big differnce. Miles was also the coach for Reed.

I wonder how it will be with the Brockermeyer twins. Are they a package deal (not that I wouldn’t want both)? What if they disagree on their destination?

There’s no basis to this take. The kid has said multiple times he’s committing to a school, not a coach. The biggest factor to him is getting pro ready at said school. Since Brady has left, football has entered its offseason, I.e. less content for instagram
