Premier Golf League

Would this be like English Premier League? Golfers get relegated out of the league? Tiger Woods is interested in the proposed league.

It would take Tiger and Rory being on board to have any chance at success. They would also have to work out a deal with the hosts of the 4 majors that would allow players in the new league a chance to qualify for those events.

Why would courses/ tournaments sign up for this? Don't they already get to invite whoever they want?

I don't see any way the PGA or R&A would work with the new tour to allow access to any of the Majors

The only thing I wish was golfers went around playing at small random clubs in one on one matches. That seemed pretty cool. Like the Tiger vs Phil thing but more localized.
They make too much money to do it nowadays. But, it’d be cool if they still had to hustle like that.
