Why I think we will be fine without Brady

Brady came in and, due to the unique way that O let's stars become stars, he was able to catapult himself into a NFL OC position at 30.
There are other talented football minds out there who want the chance to prove themselves. They know that they will have a greater chance of success here than at other programs.
I bet O's phone has been ringing off the hook with guys lining up for their shot. We will be fine, don't worry!

I am with you. Not concerned at all about Brady leaving...I wish he wasn't though

We will be fine for many reasons:
1. Current staff has a year with this system;
2. Key returning players do too;
3. I trust O to make correct personnel moves; and
4. We’ve won 3 titles in 16 years with 3 completely different staffs (LSU underachieved for decades but that changed in 2000 and we are never looking back).

Will we miss Brady, I am sure we will. But, seeing how nobody on this forum really knows what part he really played it is impossible to say what his moving on will mean.
What we do know is that our O was doing pretty well before Brady got here, we set some records for scoring, they just got better. You can't say that everyone in the box with Brady didn't learn anything from him IRT play calling. So to replace Brady with someone not Brady and try to implement something TOTALLY new is crazy.
I am totally confident that the O will be fine as far as play calling. What I don't know is who was working with Burrow to make him as cerebral and improved his speed in decision making.

Was anyone really expecting 15-0 and Brennan to have a Burrow-esque season with Brady?

This is my fear, some people will have unrealistic expectations going forward IRT championships, QB performance, O performance, etc...
We just enjoyed the Best QB ever. The most prolific Offense ever.
Even Alabama and Clemson who are the gold standards in recent history didn't win the NC EVERY YEAR.
So, as long as we continue to recruit well, compete well and produce good men I'll be happy.

Assuming Munoz steps into JB's role at LSU, he and E are solid. They had a year to absorb any concepts Brady brought. Frank Wilson is out there as a potential excellent staff addition. I'd bet LSU's 2020 offensive design will look the same.
Independent of the new coaching staff, without Burrow, CEH, and others, there could well be an execution fall off for the team. Duplicating the most prolific offense in NCAA history will obviously be a hell of a task. That was going to be the case even if Brady remained.

You have to believe that Brady's concepts and approaches to in-game conditions are things that LSU has now been able to absorb and apply to just about every conceivable defense it could face. Opponents threw everything you could imagine against this offense and it was still unstoppable. The "scheme" is applicable and in place with a solid year of experience to learn from and build upon.
For so many years, LSU was able to get the skill position players it needed but the "scheme" was the problem. This has now been fixed. It's going to be simply a matter of execution from this point forward. LSU gets the skill position folks it needs. Things will be fine.
