I have been looking at several in Houston as well. I'm steering towards more used vehicles due to me not being able to stomach buying a depreciated item as soon as I get it. That being said, I'll probably put 10-12k down.

Also, I have been running into dealerships saying the internet price is the best that they can do or they are a "no haggle dealership"

2019 XL Sport 2wd for $28,311. Might be exactly what the guy wants.

Depends on who you are dealing with. Probably won't get too far with volume dealers.

Get an offer in writing. Relay the message to dealer 2 and 3. Tell them to beat it or scram. Eventually one will be able to go lower than others. Then walk away from the table to see if you can get it lower.

He can’t get a new XLT for near $25k

He said he wants to stay under $30k, and there are several new XLT crew cabs available in that range. If he only needs the supercab, he can get in under $28k.

You're saying that I should be able to find a new 2019 XLT supercrew cab for under 30k? If so where do I sign up

Why do you want a XLT so bad? The STX with upgraded radio has everything the XLT does. I have a 2018 STX I bought in December 2017 for $31k and I didn't try to haggle with them on price at all. I'm sure you can find a 2018 STX on a dealer lot in TX for <$29k.

I don’t. Just knew I didn’t want the XL trim. I will check out the STX I guess. Never really came up in my searches. Embarrassing enough, wasn’t sure if it’s better or worse than xlt
