Tends to be my strategy.

I give some thought to matchups and streaks but at the end of the day I drafted one guy high for a reason when making these choices.

Watson hasn’t finished as a QB1 since week 8, and only 5 times on the season with 4 of those coming before week 7.

Where did these stats come from? Just randomly looked this up, and he was a qb1 every single week since week 8 outside of the Baltimore game.

I dropped Darnold about 15min before kickoff yesterday for Armstead

Might pull the bye off after all

In his first two career matchups against New England, Deshaun Watson was pressured on 35% of dropbacks. Tonight, the Patriots were only able to create pressure on 21% of dropbacks.

Watson vs No Pressure: 16/22, 217 yards, 3 TD, 143.4 passer rating

Those first 2 starts were @NE.

The first one he went for 301 yards with 2 tds. He added 41 yards on the ground.

The second one was opening night 2018 and NE shut him down 176/1.

Last night was first time Deshaun faced NE @ home. Sunday night, sell out crowd.

ETA: those downvotes aren’t from me.

G-Baby, those are just the stats, you cannot argue them. I did not offer an opinion in this instance, only dropped the nuggets for one to make their own decisions. Im glad you found comfort in your decision.

You will find the downvotes come when people don't like the stats or cannot provide a substantive argument and they get their feelings hurt like my man DJ
