Some critical designed QB runs will break this shite wide open.

TBH, this is an aspect that i feel has been held back all season in prep for this game.

So many times Joe could have pulled the ball and kept it for an easy 8-10 yards or more. I understand trying to keep him healthy though

Definitely expected him to run a lot more than he has.

QBs scrambling for decent gains to keep drives alive are basically a constant theme in all of Saban's losses at Alabama.

Been thinking this all season also. Think Burrow will run for about 70 yards. Probably get at least one late hit call.

I am not sure about designed plays but I think he picks up a few crucial 3rd and longs with his legs.

Didn’t he house one against Texas’ little brother last year?

I hate it when he falls forward instead of sliding. He's had issues with his shoulder before, I'm scared he's going to land on it wrong. But his legs are underestimated.

Yep. I know it was a different year with different players, but Watson made Saban go in to his toddler style melts on the sideline both national championships against them. I expect some zone reads and RPO to try and exploit their young LBs in coverage.

The only "Key to win this game" thread that hasn't been a captain obvious type thread.

I really want to see LSU attach the short middle of the field and test their LBs.

A few well-timed scrambles, like when Joe sees the LBs turn their backs to him while in coverage, can cause them to switch things up (i.e., begin spying a bit), which of course opens up other things.
