Traditional IRA effect on medicare

I'm young and sat through a terribly boring discussion of retirement strategies yesterday. However, I thought how having too much in a traditional IRA actually increases your medicare premiums was pretty interesting

If you're young, this doesn't apply to you anyway. This tax code will be completely different in 10 years. But yeah, being rich costs more.

Pretty much any income you earn impacts this. So pensions, continuing to work, etc.
