Removal / Installation of downdraft range hoods

Looks like mine has finally went kaput.

36-inch. I'm currently researching replacement. I'd like to do it myself, however handy I am usually not.

What's all involved? Or would it be best to hire someone after I purchase online? Haven't checked YouTube, yet.

A little electrical work unless the old one is plugged in. Could be plug and play. Just take pictures as you rip things apart. Can't be that much to them.

Current one is plugged in. I haven't looked in detail, but appears to be plug and play. Need to figure out how it is secured.

I put a new one up 2 months ago that I ordered from Wayfair.

It came with brackets for the sides

Mine was hard wired in
