Either now or upcoming? Cheapest I see for the cellular capable 44mm is $399 at Costco.

Is't that about the same as the cheapest 5? Of course, if the "always on" thing isn't an issue for you and you aren't getting it in titanium, no real reason to get the 5.

Check your insurance. Maybe you qualify to get it "free" (Aetna for example).

Yeah, the aluminum 5 with cellular looks to be $529. I am interested to know more about the Aetna program that someone mentioned above as my wife's employer is about to switch to them.

I’m not really worried about the always on mode even though I think I’d prefer it. Not worth the extra $200 for me. A series 4 would be just fine for my uses

I would agree. The only reason I’m leaning toward the 5 is for the titanium case. I already have a titanium watch with sapphire crystal and it’s durability has been remarkable. Not to mention the weight (or lack thereof).

I’ve got AETNA through work and all it had me do was download their app “Attain” and then choose form the 3 model or the 5 model. Haven’t picked one out yet cause I’m still trying to figure out which one I should get.

You don't have Aetna. BCBS has a bunch of lame 10% type benefits, you should be able access them through the member portal, but I don't think we have anything through Apple. Apple has a government employee discount, but it's not much.
