Speaking of food tours...I didn't know Baton Rouge had one

Came across this company called Red Stick Adventures. They offer swamp tours, a haunted Baton Rouge tour, and a food tour. Has anyone ever done this? Sounds like it could be a fun time depending on the stops. There are some great local places that could make this very worthwhile.

What would be 5 essential stops in BR if you were doing a Food Tour?

Says it was founded in 2009, but I have never heard of it.
The Haunted BR tour intrigues me for the Halloween season. Would love to know the stops on the culinary tour.

There's pics online from reviews but I can't identify the restaurants from the pictures. No doubt those two make appearances. I wonder if it rotates at all
Places like Red Stick Spice, White Star Market, Jed's Poboys, and Tony's Seafood would all be good stops.

Perfect business for those Riverboat Tours that stop downtown. Pick people up at the dock.
Can anyone tell where the stops are based on the pictures? For sure Poor Boy Loyd's and Coffee Call are on there. One of the stops looks like it might be Jed's. White Star Market is in another pic and another pic has Hannah Q. I don't recognize the muffaletta but it could use more meat. I guess you can get a decent food tour by starting downtown going down government then cut down College to Coffee Call.
The pizza in the pics looks like Pastimes to me.

A food tour centered around Campus would be neat. Chimes, Raul's, La Salvadorena, Umami. Good culinary and greasiness variety with those 4.
Poboy/oysters, gumbo, shrimp burger, pupusas, and sushi. Hardest part would be parking near Chimes. Not sure where it'd start. Probably end at Chimes for drinks.

I love food tours and do one almost every time I visit a new town. Beyond just the food, is always some story or building or something that makes the visit better than if you find the take a tour.
Bad thing about BR is it’s not really walkable and you’d have to drive around. But I’d probably go in the following order:
Jed’s
(Red Stick Spice Co.)
Superior Grill
White Star Market
Yvette Marie’s
(Circa 1857)
Po-boy Lloyd’s
(Hilton Hotel)
Chimes
(Memorial Tower/parade grounds)
LSU Dairy Store

They do go to Jed's Local. Also Monjuni's, Coffee Call, Capital City Crawfish, Caneland Distillery.
Based off their IG, at least. Best of luck to them. Not really my thing, but they seem to have a decent amount of tours being booked so that's great.
