I found that mine did work great for about 3 months but now need to be replaced. starting to see more around the back patio.
Question I have is why can't I just add more sugar, salt & yeast to the tubes?? curious to know what the active ingredient is that actually "eradicates" the mosquitoes.

In case you're curious but don't want to click, here's one reason why the Spartan Mosquito Eradicators don't work: the holes in the cap are too small (5/32") for mosquitoes to gain entry to device.

They say on their site that they "form a barrier to 'catch' hunting mosquitoes by emitting the same attractant triggers that draw mosquitoes to people and animals. Mosquitoes that feed will perish and are not able to reproduce."
But in some promos they now say it is not a trap. Their product description on Wal-Mart says: "These are not traps. Mosquitoes are attracted to the Eradicators, feed, and are eradicated before they breed again."
So is yeast/sugar water poisonous to mosquitoes? Or is it just a trap? Give a straight answer.
A company rep on a local news show on Youtube gave some mumbo jumbo about interrupting the breeding cycle. How? YouTube
Please tell me how a tube of water, sugar, and yeast disrupts the breeding cycle of mosquitoes or kills mosquitoes by any means other than trapping them in the tube.
If it's a trap, it's not that effective. Just look inside yours and see how many bodies are in it. I've killed more by slapping than I've seen in the three tubes we put out over two summers.

I'm skeptical of that claim. LSU AgCenter or Texas A&M's ag people need to test and weigh in on this.
If that worked, why don't we put out bowls or barrels of yeast/sugar water all lover the place and let the bastards explode after eating? Someone should tell this to the countries with malaria problems.

I reviewed your blog post. Nice work applying the scientific method. You appear to be actively going after the company. What disclosures do you have or are you simply trying to out a company you believe to be fraudulent?

I have no disclosures other than I dislike companies that make false claims. They are taking money from people who trust them.

Bait stations with pesticides such as permethrin have been shown to be effective against mosquitoes. They kill other insects, too, of course, so the delivery has to be targeted in some ways. E.g., near the drains where the mosquitoes breed underground.
