Will be in Denver this summer for a conference and want to get a round in on Sunday afternoon when I get in town. Any recommendations?

Looks like Green Valley Ranch is the most convenient as it sits between the airport and downtown, but is it worth it to drive to Arrowhead or somewhere else?

Riverdale Dunes is a great public option, played it on our way to Ballyneal a few years ago and thought it was worth the $

Just got back from Denver over the weekend and we played Arrowhead.

It was by far, the most beautiful course I have ever played. condition was amazing, scenery is stunning, course layout is great. Cant recommend Arrowhead enough. I have a bunch of pics on my phone that I will try to upload for you. Arrowhead is worth it.

hit the range before, i was shocked at the difference in club distances, at least 2 club lengths were added. lots of down hill holes. Their signature hole is #13, downhill par 3. it was 180 from the tips (only hole we played from the tips) and i used a 9 iron to put it on the green. crazy elevation change. (i hit my 7 iron 155 in new orleans, it was going at least 175 in denver)

Play Arrowhead.

We are going this summer and plan on playing Fossil Trace and Cherry Hills. Arrowhead was an option as well. May look closer at that from your review.

Wow. Yeah it does look amazing. Might have to just go for it and make the drive down.

Cherry Hills is private. Are you playing with a member?

I played blackstone and black bear back-to-back days and was very impressed with each of them. If I remember correctly they’re semi-private, I used my clubcorp membership to get on but I think there were non-members playing in the group with us at one of the 2 courses.

My club pro is trying to get us on. It's not a definite yet, we are keeping our fingers crossed. We are set up for Fossil Trace. What other courses besides Arrowhead do ya'll recommend?

Common ground if you want to stay in the city and Red Hawk Ridge in Castle Rock.

Ended up playing Riverdale dunes. Great bang for your buck and a fun links style course.

Even got my first hole in one on 17!
