Sekiro.
I wasn't that excited about it. Didn't really like the change of direction from the souls games. I like customizing my character more.
But from soft did a great job. The posture system was just really well executed and gave a unique feel to the combat that a lot of people had never experienced. Great setting. Great level and boss design. Just a really well executed game.

Probably gonna be Resident Evil 2 remake that wins it. 2020’s GOTY is gonna be the year with the real bangers for sure.
We’ll see how this year turns out. Sekiro definitely is a solid #2. I wonder if Smash will be up for GOTY just out of curiosity. Came out literally the night after the game awards. Be interesting to see if it was included.

Would you rather put in Kingdom Hearts 3? 
I honestly don’t see why not. I wouldn’t vouch for it by any means to win, but the game looks gorgeous, its music is AMAZING, it has most all the modes back from previous games and its sales are humongous too. Fits the game of the year ticket better than PUBG or Fortnite
