I think City will continue to go after players with a fixed buy-out clause (I think all Spanish contracts have one). The price goes up the minute they are interested in a player and this protects them from paying an extra 25%.

Zinchenko has officially signed his five-year extension.

This season is it for Merlin.

City's owners should buy him Las Palmas as a gift next summer. He could one-up Vinny by being Player/ Owner.

Looks like David will be the Captain next year.

With the exit of Kompany, I think there are no more players left from when I first started watching them in 2009 or so. I started watching when Hughes was manager.

Kompany will probably always be my favorite player. So sad to see him go, but wish him luck at Anderlecht.

Personally, I think Liverpool easily rolls to the League title in 2019/20.

I would be happy with the Community Shield, a domestic cup, and at least a semifinal showing in UEFA CL.
