It’s hot as shite here now and will continue though the weekend. Hope you enjoy Charleston even with the heat and watch some of the 11th hole. Hard par 3!
ETA: I see you live in SC and probably know it’s going to be hot.

Can’t wait to see a Raynor course in great shape, hopefully firmed up. The big wigs at Metairie CC should be watching with note pads.

Very interested to see this tournament this weekend. The Reverse Redan #11 looks awesome. The Lions Mouth on #16 is a great feature. Fantastic of the USGA to bring a tournament like this to a golden age course. Hopefully the men get to play on a track like this at some point in the near future.

This is it. Similar concept but much less severe.

It is incredible, and it isn't even the best Raynor in Charleston.

I haven't, but I know people who have been to both CC of Charleston and Yeamans Hall, and they've said Yeamans is easily the better course.

I had left the course about 30 minutes before that storm hit. We saw it coming and got the hell out of there. Got Lydia Ko's autograph on Thursday. I was sitting on the 12th fairway on Sunday when she got the hole in one on the 11th. We followed Lexie Thompson sometimes. Followed Pillar, Pressel and Creamer's group Friday. After a couple of days of walking, we decided to get chairs and find shade to watch them go by.
