Austin Riley is the best player in baseball and it’s not particularly close

Draft coming up on Monday. The system is starting to thin out, understandably, with all the graduations of the top tier guys. Need a good draft to boost the system. This time last year guys like Acuña, Fried, Soroka, Touki, etc. were still eligible for this list. It's still a very good system and I still really like the top 10 guys, but the 2nd 10 in the system is as weak as it's been in several years as all those guys have some real question marks. I've seen Rome, Mississippi and Gwinnett this year and obviously Atlanta a couple times. Here's how I'd rank the system

1. Cristian Pache CF
2. Austin Riley 3B
3. Ian Anderson RHP
4. Drew Waters LF
5. Kyle Wright RHP
6. William Contreras C
7. Kyle Muller LHP
8. Bryse Wilson RHP
9. Luiz Gohara LHP
10. Patrick Weigel RHP
11. Joey Wentz LHP
12. Huascar Ynoa RHP
13. Greyson Jenista OF
14. C.J. Alexander 3B
15. Kolby Allard LHP
16. Tucker Davidson LHP
17. Freddy Tarnok RHP
18. Jaseel De La Cruz RHP
19. Tristan Beck RHP
20. Alex Jackson C

that's a pretty good ranking to me. It's a shame about CJ's injury. He had a chance to really rise up the rankings this year

yep. luckily these games happen once or twice a year and you just move on from them. I hate that we couldn't split this short series, but we have a team coming in that we should be able to bounce back against.
