I am filling a DL spot with him, which I’m probably going to need. He pitched pretty badly before the injury. I’m usually not one to use Yahoo! stats as my go-to, but every time I go to drop him he’s still owned in 88% of leagues. I spent a early round pick on him, and some outside help would be appreciated.

I think you're asking if you should drop him?

If he is he probably should just stop setting his lineup.

Don't drop Kluber, if anything you should try to trade him.

Kluber is a stud. Hold him or trade him if you don’t like him.

He may not even pitch again this season, and all the metrics pointed towards regression before the injury

If you need a DL spot, you can drop him. If someone will trade for him, great. Assuming this is a redraft league

I would not drop him yet. You said “probably going to need a DL spot”.

Why don’t you see who else you need on the DL first?

Yeah, I was asking if I should drop him. Sorry, I thought that was kind of clear, I’ll be more clear in the future.

Thanks for the replies.

“I would not drop him yet. You said “probably going to need a DL spot”.

I officially need that second DL spot with Springer on the 10 day. I’m still holding on to Strop, news says he’ll be back on the mound this week or the next.

Right now, I’ve got Springer, Kluber, Strop on the DL and Blackmon DTD. Offensively I can hold out. But I really need holds/saves.

Is there a market for Kluber, trade wise? There’s no timetable for his return and I’ve read a return for the postseason could be a possibility. I’m in need of saves/holds, would he be worth a 2nd tier reliever?

I’d take a look at which teams have good records and an IL spot or two that’s open. I understand wanting to move on if you need to improve your team, but I would think someone will give you something for him. Even an Iglesias/Hicks type would be much better than just straight dropping him

I think Strop will be back very soon.

Yeah, I would still try to sell Kluber for cheap before outright dropping him.

How many teams in this league?

It’s a 12 team league.

I’ve got 3 guys that can play 1st, so would a package like Kluber/Y. Gurriel for Ryan Pressly be close to a good deal for me?

I’ve got; Profar, Gurriel, and Deitrich that I’m willing to trade. At the moment, I really can’t give up any pitchers. I’m low on them as it is.
