Alright baws, I'm getting a group together to go to the LSU Vanderbilt game this year in September. The Tigahs don't come this far north too often, so I need to take advantage of it. Any advice on hotels, restaurants, tailgates, tickets, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

The Marriot, you can watch the game from your hotel room.

If you drink craft... check out Southern Grist. They have both a brewery and tap room location.

Hotel rates in nashville are out of control, as in expect to pay over $400/night anywhere close to downtown. I'd recommend doing an air bnb. There are a million restaurants in Nashville now, so you'll have plenty off options. I'd check out Nashville Guru for the best places in the different neighborhoods. Tickets will not be hard to come by

Heard the full band is coming too, an LSU takeover of Nashville is needed !

We tailgated in front of the Harris-Hillman school in 2010, but I think they have since banned tailgating. I plan to call them to confirm when it gets closer.

The last time I went to the LSU/Vandy game in Nashville, the full band made the trip. There were a lot of Tiger fans in the stadium, probably at least 20K. It was a fun trip.

And looking at that pic don't look like you miss much of the game day/stadium experience
