I am honestly surprised recruiting was so strong despite Alleva and F.king constantly embarrassing our university on a routine basis on a national level. With competent leadership under Woodward, I think the perception of how LSU handles a lot of things will change for the better.

Woodward is the relief. He is there to counter any bullshite negative recruiting about Eaux's contract and buyout. It helps when coach Eaux tells them it's BS but when his boss does it then it should really stand out to a recruit and his parents.
VERY Good move on their part. If the recruit and parents believes Eaux and his boss then they know the other coaches are liars that will tell them anything. Nobody likes a fricking liar and wants to go play football for them for 3 to 5 years.
That endorsement from his boss with other endorsements like this from a parent of a player makes for a tough decision.

I think some people were impressed that we simply plucked the AD from another SEC West team and installed him as quickly as we did. Those who maybe didn't know that LSU was SW's dream job were probably left with the impression that the AD position at LSU is a much bigger deal that A&M.

What you saw were the "anybody but O" crowd start giving credit for this class to an AD that hadn't unpacked in Baton Rouge yet.
No. This is not Obama's economy and not the new LSU ADs recruiting class.

No, coach is working his arse off to build a program we’re all going to buy in on, the nega tigers will eventually capitulate after we win 11 games this year. The future is bright at LSU and coach O is making it a fun ride.

I also think the anti-O crowd are under the misconception that Woodward isn't a fan of O and that he didn't already have a long standing relationship with coach prior to coming here...
