Anyone getting it? I wanted to wait to see reviews. Currently mixed on Steam in high 50s. Will likely pick it up next month though once I’m done with what I’m currently playing.
A lot of the negative reviews are based on Denuvo and typical open world fatigue. Some are complaining about graphics while others with the same or roughly the same specs are saying it runs smooth.

I was toying with the idea of this being something to hold me over until Borderlands 3, but most of the reviews I've seen say the same thing: it plays great, but the world is very bland. I just got done with Far Cry 5 so I feel I need an open world break for a bit.......or just play some more Skyrim.

I watched the giant bomb quick look. The graphics look fine to me, at least the PC version they showed but it looks incredibly generic. I remember the reveal trailer was non stop action with supers and abilities... actual game play seems to be just driving to different strongholds and killing a couple dudes and looting chest with nothing in the waste land along the way.

Yeah, I’m looking at it as a Borderlands 3 holdover too. I played the first game, though I never actually beat it. I remember that title being a lot more bland color wise, like the Mad Max game (which was awesome imo, though repetitive at the end as all open worlds become). I remember Carmack saying at Quakecon that Rage got flak because people assumed it was gonna be Borderlands meets New Vegas, which would be interesting to me, since New Vegas is in my top 3 games of all time.

When it gets a price drop, I say that about most games now unless it is a mainly multiplayer game you need to jump on early.

I played this game for two and a half hours last night. It feels like this is exactly the sort of game that should release in mid-May, but I'm not sure what that means. :lol
