No. It’s the failure to fix the inconsistencies that have plagued this team all year. 40 games into the season, and we’re still seeing too many walks, numerous battery combinations that can’t hold or throw runners out. Pathetic approaches at the plate.

The quality of play should be a lot better right now. Instead it’s one step forward and two steps back. And as others have pointed out, there’s no focus or energy or drive right now and our coach seems to have no answers for the lack of improvement.

That's not only my observation, bet you can go thru current posts a find mention.

It does seem to me and many people have noticed his detachment and lack of competitiveness, lack of "fire."

Y’all act as if he is doing something completely different than before
He’s always stood & quietly watched the game

He’s also chewed arse in the dugout this season, think it was a Beloso that was shown on camera

Yea the pitchers change but the catcher is the same because the other two that were brought in to be the catcher in Garza and Willis have been hurt since before the season starteD.

Do people forget they beat State two weeks ago? I know that’s a lot of time in rant years but that’s a top 5 team that they beat on the road. Yes they need to improve and yes they aren’t playing good baseball but they can play with anyone and that series proves it. They need to be more consistent and would be nice to get some guys back healthy that can add some depth or at least give more options when people are struggling.

Right now you are stuck with Mathis at catcher and Broussard at second base because you don’t have another healthy option that is doing better. Bianco hasn’t figured it out, Hughes is Hughes, and Dugas is hurt and we don’t know what he can do. Those are the two positions that if someone can take over, which I’m not sure if they will at this point, and improve this ball club overnight.

He also stood around "quietly" and let go complely uncontested a hit batter when contesting would have cost nothing and may have resulted in reverse. It surely would have "fired-up" the team.

I left the starting pitcher in too long and the game was effectively over before I took him out....that’s my signature move at LSU.

I have never said I agree with everything he does

To say he is detached & not competitive is crap, some of the posters on here act as if wants to lose

Don’t forget he’s also been sitting the best batter for almost 8 weeks now

I want to fire PM yesterday but I have ZERO problem with his comments after the game.

Yes, I agree and I hope his comments after the game lead to better performance in future (as stated on board today). My concern is that he seems to feel that justifications and good "what ifs" are results rather building a consistent winning top-level program.
