Jimbo probably part of reason Woodward took LSU job

If an AD hires a football coach for an unprecedented amount of money, he is forever tied to that and his employment going forward is SOLELY contingent on the success of that hire.
It probably feels good to Woodward to get out from under the weight of the Jimbo hire.

Yet you are so terribly off. Jimbo has no buyout clause in his contract. That means all they do is just pay him a lot per year. There is no "weight of the Jimbo hire". Do some homework, bro.

I think this is incorrect. There is no buyout for Jimbo if he wants to leave. A&M has to pay his entire contract if they fire him without cause. Fully Guaranteed.
