You were already proven wrong about the crime issue,

I've already said that you are partially right about the crime statistics. There was a dip in crime for several years in the beginning of this century. But if you go back and read my OP, I think I said that my Dad mentioned how much time the news was spending on criminal activity. He started telling me this about 3 years ago.

Well, click the link below and you will see that crime has been SOARING in Shreveport over the past 3 years. Incidents of rape are way up, and murders per 100,000 thousand population was higher than it's ever been in 2018. 52 murders per 100K of population doesn't sound very good to me.

So violent crime in Shreveport was down for awhile, but unfortunately it's been on the rise the past 3 years.

You're delusional and I never say anything about crime, snail trail. You need to get out of Shreveport more. Like I said I have hope for my home town. Perhaps it will rebound.

Much of my youth was spent watching the Captains at SPAR and later at Fairgrounds Field.
I miss those days

Wendel was actually a pretty good guy but with that said you didn't want to frick with him.

During the summer, I used to man his driving range for him so he could go play golf.
