i need 20ft of base cabinets in my garage for a 20ft long straight continuous workbench and storage as well

trying to decide the best, and cheapest way to do this

i can build a bench top and shelf but its not going to be pretty and most likely i will overbuild the crap out of it.

im thinking it would be nice to have enclosed storage with doors but where can you find free plans or diagrams for that?

if i had directions to follow i can do it but if i had to try to make it on my own its going to be an eyesore

PS - i thought about buying used kitchen base cabinets but those things are all made of press board and very cheaply made at that so i dont think they would last long in the garage as a work bench before falling apart

Garage Journal has a lot of information.

I got my garage cabinets cheap from a warehouse sale - they were liquidating hotel furniture.

Jay Bates Cabinet Build Video

I made three cabinets that span the entire back wall of my garage. I have two gaps inbetween for storing stools and other random stuff. I made a butcher block top in three sections to cover the tip of the cabinets for a huge bench top. The tops are made from salvaged scrap I dug out of construction dumpsters when my neighborhood was being built up.
