Compare 2014
To early 2017 and the present.
Basically, ISIS was wiped out in Iraq’s western provinces and severely limited in the North before Trump’s election, and the remnants in northern Iraq and Syria were wiped out after he was elected. BOTH GOOD THINGS.

That hurt to admit didn't it? Be honest. Giving Trump credit sometimes is the right thing to do.

That 2014 graph is a bit misleading. It seems as if ISIS was everywhere, but the pinkish shaded region as stated in the legend is “claimed or operated by ISIS”. It makes a comparison between 2014 and 2017 very difficult, aside from the red shaded areas.

Objectively, ISIS was removed from about 75-80% of its territory (red, not pink) before he was elected, and it was removed from the remainder after he was elected. In my view, the US played a larger role in the latter than in the former.
