What might be the most frustrating game of all time, is also one of the hardest to put it down. As of now I'm on the verge of completing the first campaign but still got some of the toughest levels left D/E-15 -- D/E-19, they might take me 500 attempts to complete. It's alright though because it feels rewarding when you win and the soundtrack is catchy.

Just play a metroidvania. Or better yet, play Metroid or Castlevania.

I tried to get into this game back in the day and just couldn't for some reason. And that's coming from someone who loves tough platformers. I found the movement just way too floaty for my liking.
Super Meat Boy ended up scratching the itch I was hoping to get with this game. I recommend checking it out if you haven't played it and you want more of something like this (but with tighter controls, imo).

You might be better off switching to Super Meat Boy now. Music is incredible and the speed is great. Game drove me insane but I finally beat it (the base game).
