Anyone have experience with listing their home on Airbnb?

I am relocating for work for a year and keeping my house. I would like to capitalize on the situation and make some money by renting it while I’m gone. Anyone have experience with using Airbnb to rent their own place?

I do. But why not do a long term rental? You could even do a 6 month rental.
Short term, without being local, is gonna be a PITA unless you have someone local to help you.
