Wonder if armstead is more letting him fully recover for down the stretch and playoffs. Most likely don’t need against the Bucs.

Let him rest until he is 100%, we need him for the playoffs

what about the Bucs?

I looked up 3 different sources & this is what I came up with...

WR DeSean Jackson - OUT (thumb)
SS Justin Evans - OUT (toe)
SS Isaiah Johnson - OUT (concussion)

CB Carlton Davis - DOUBTFUL (knee)

DE Jason Pierre Paul - QUESTIONABLE (knee)
CB Brent Grimes - QUESTIONABLE (knee)
CB M.J. Stewart - QUESTIONABLE (foot)
RT Demar Dotson - QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)

DT Gerald McCoy - SHOULD PLAY (shoulder/ankle)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-WR DeSean Jackson is OUT, but that's not a huge deal. He's great at big plays, but they still have 2 great backups behind him (Chris Godwin & Adam Humphries). Those 2 guys plus Mike Evans is more than enough at WR.

-SS Justin Evans & SS Isaiah Johnson are OUT...FS Chris Conte is already on the IR. That leaves them with rookie Jordan Whitehead at FS & Andrew Adams (15 tackles & 3 INT's this year) at SS. I don't think they have anymore Safeties on the roster.

-CB Vernon Hargreaves is already on IR & CB Carlton Davis is DOUBTFUL. They have 2 CB's that are QUESTIONABLE...Brent Grimes & M.J. Stewart. Ryan Smith & DeVante Harris are completely healthy & they were the 2 starters last week. They also recently activated 2 new CB's to the roster. It would be nice if both Grimes/Stewart didn't play.

-DE Jason Pierre Paul is DOUBTFUL. If he can't play, then they'll probably have a rotation of Carl Nassib & William Gholston. Vinny Curry would most likely man the other DE spot.

-RT Demar Dotson is listed as QUESTIONABLE by some sites. It would be great if he couldn't play. Leonard Wester would get the start at RT in Dotson's absence. Wester made his 1 & only start last week when Dotson sat out.

-3 other original starters (now on IR) that I didn't mention above...TE O.J. Howard, LB Kwon Alexander, & LB Kendell Beckwith.

The Bucs are pretty banged up. Out of the 4 guys listed as QUESTIONABLE...I think RT Demar Dotson being out is the most important. JPP would be nice as well though. He has 11.5 sacks this year. I wouldn't want Bushrod trying to block him. Their pass rush on defense is the only thing that might give our offense problems.
