My Creed II Review (Spoilers)

I really enjoyed this film for starters. I do not think it was neccesssry to have Bianca and the baby to be deaf in the storyline. I don’t think it was needed but it wasn’t terrible. I can see how it makes sense since Bianca is a singer and she was experiencing tinnitus and ear aches.

The casting crew did an outstanding job in picking Viktor Drago (he’s a pro boxer apparently, but I wasn’t able to find a boxing record on the net). He looked the part and played it excellently and was a natural. This could be because he is from Eastern Europe.

Both of the fight scenes were very realistic. Those body shots were filmed brilliantly bc it sucks getting punch in the gut and liver.

The training scenes seemed a little underwhelming, I feel the production team could have expanded this for another 5 minutes or so. But the first fight did more than enough in order to build up the rematch.

The viktor and his mom storyline was rather short lived. I wish this was expanded more rather than her just leaving. Although at the end his dad and him grew closer together.

In the end everybody won despite viktor losing.

I like this better than the first one since the film had brought out more emotion. At least It did for me personally.

As a whole both films are great, I don’t see the news to make another film. If so, the 3rd better be the last one.
