feed for deer/turkey -- something bears won't go after

wheat for turkey.. idk on deer because bear will eat pretty much anything they do im sure.

The bears will destroy the feeder that has the feed where I am located.

On our place in Waterproof (Tensas) the bears have become abundant over the last decade and a half. Spread like mentioned above. Do not pile or it’ll disappear in short order.

Another option is build a serious feeder made from heavy metal. We made some and used 6” heavy wall pipe for the legs but we had to use a front end loader on tractor to stand. It works great. The bears can’t tip these heavy ones we made over and it slings corn perfectly and doesn’t pile.

It seems they develop a taste for everything. I’ve about given up on feeders all together. I have a spreader on my 4 Wheeler. I’ll run it down a lane slinging corn. As others said, the bears don’t like to hunt and peck for individual kernels.
