I really, really like Joe Burrow

Guys, it’s been a long time since I enjoyed watching a QBas much as I like Joe Burrow.
He had never, been to LSU or even Baton Rouge. He came in and immeadiately embraced us, and busted his arse off to win the job and team.
He holds up the L and just emmits a since of school pride, despite us not being his first choice. His family even got the “Burreaux”
He’s so gritty and tough. He’s a true football player and he’s looking to make a move or run you over every time he runs the ball.
He has incredible football smart. He makes such great pre snap reads and audibles. A lot of times we win the play before the ball is even snapped because of him. He’s the unsung hero on so many plays bc of his pre snap work.
He does light up the stat sheet, but he lights up our hearts every time he takes a snap.
And, every time the ball is in his hands, I have hope that it’s going to be a successful play. It’s been a looonng time since I could genuinely say that (even though Danny was a good QB, he didn’t give me the same feeling).
He’s not perfect, he makes some mistakes, he’s not the most talented QB we have ever had. But, this kid has 5-star heart.

Yeah hes good...its still a bit of surprised when we complete easy passes or tough ones. He did have a couple almost costly mistakes at the end of the GA game. Should have been picked off a couple of times.
