Was studying how the whole Flint fiasco went down and how it began and I am baffled how this man is still Governor.

Someone who lives in Michigan that is on this board help me out.

I know most know the story, but now I'm extremely perplexed how this guy is still heading the state with all the shite that went down.

I'm stunned that Trump hasn't really done anything about Flint. Michigan is such a key state for him and he should have appointed a special panel to get Flint fixed ASAP and to give updates to America on a bi-monthly basis. He should be pounding the infrastructure bill and demanding that funding to fix Flint be at the forefront of any infrastructure bill.

Trump should be in Michigan every other month meeting with African American leaders in Detroit and Flint and speaking at churches, town halls, etc. to give the appearance that he cares about changing black voters' impressions of him. This is the issue that could crack the Dems' stronghold of black voters.

I know that some will say "that isn't the President's job", but Trump should make it his job/responsibility. He should throw as much federal money at that problem as he possibly can. He should also be getting the message out there about how we've had huge progress against ISIS and explain what he's done to change the tide. Most Americans have no idea about how he changed the rules of engagement.

Trump isn't doing a great job of taking credit for things that he should be getting kudos for in many instances.

I honestly have no idea how Snyder isnt even in jail

Good Gracious he became a dictator in his state to save money. I am not going to get into all the details. It is lengthy. Im just shocked he is even Governor.

He is too busy taking credit for everything else not nailed down to the floor.

I would vote for him again over Hillary but he needs to STFU and just do his job, I'm not so sure progs did not sabotage the market just to spite him.

The left is never going to like him regardless if he throws out paying guest and gives free hotel rooms to illegals, there is no changing their mind, just do what those of us who voted for you asked for and leave the rest alone.

I've driven through Flint twice. Once I even stopped for gas. I have no idea why my employer hasn't fired me for allowing what happened there to take place.

How is Eric Greitens still governor of Missouri?

Cheated on his wife and blackmailed her. That’s just a start of legal problems.

Check out his drunk call to a reporter on YouTube. It is funny shite

The pipes are being replaced and the water quality is up. The project won't be complete until 2020.

Weird how no one is talking about that.

The flint water issue was not just on the Governor.

You have hilariously inept local city government wrapped up in horrible urban decay and poverty interacting with state and federal environmental bureaucracy fighting with a republican governor.

There is a ton of fail to be shared, but to put it all on the governor is laughably biased.

Flint also got a new Diesel engine project from General Motors this year that was once considered for Ramos Arizpe, Mexico and Rayong, Thailand.

Hiring additional employees should be underway now with production to start this year after retooling.

Flint is still not a good place to live, but things are looking better for their future now than they did 2-3 years ago.

Reading up on it, looks like the city has gotten almost half a billion dollars from state and federal govt since 2016 relating to the water crisis.

Interesting, Woodrow Stanley had been mayor since 1991 and was recalled in 2002.

But that's okay because the idiots then elected him to the County Board of Commissioners twice and then to two terms in the Michigan House of Representatives. So fricking typical of idiot constituencies. You failed utterly? Let's elect you to even higher offices!

Maybe Flint is just dead wood and doesn't deserve to be saved more than just making it livable.
