Did anyone else hear the bizarre EBS test done on the radio at 11 am central? I didn't catch it all, but it said something about a test being conducted from 11 to 12 CT, and listed about twenty or so states, including Louisiana. I've never heard one like this one before. This was on 94.7 out of Lacombe.

EDIT: I know they don't call it the EBS anymore, but that is what I still call it.

Possibly.

The radio was on in the office, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Once the message started to be read, I could tell it was something different and not a normal test. By the time I was able to get to the radio and turn it up, I missed half of it. Damn. I wish I could have caught the whole damn thing.

In fairness, Chicken owes me around 7 posts from an account from around 2002 that went inactive. So my 40k was probably less impressive.

That's a regularly-scheduled test that is not supposed to be forwarded by the equipment at the station.

So somewhere someone didn't flip the right switch?

Sounds a bit like Hawaii.
