I think his play shows he can help this team through the rest of the season... so when this 10-day ends he'll be signed for the rest of the year

I am far too dumb to understand the NBA cap, but outside of being thrown into the tax, I would think so.

He looks good enough to me that I pencil him in for next year too. If he can give what he's giving now for the next 50 games, that should let the team bring Boogie back at a doctor recommended pace.

I think it's a near certainty. Gives someone to bang away at the 5 spot when AD clearly doesn't want to.

That's five viable bigs vs two. Granted Mek has a very small sample size but he's already played drummond and held his own. He's worth every penny for right now.

Replace Ajinca with Diallo. Then you have 5 rotation worth bigs.
He held his own against Embid too and defended him as well as any non freak could. Embid is just a star and won't be stopped by normal solid defense.
