Over the next month I will be going to Charleston (SC), Blytheville (AR), and Elko (NV).

Been reading on here and the Food Board for places to eat/see in Charleston. Coming up empty on the other two. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone ever been to either of those two places?

Blytheville - Flying to Memphis and driving North. Have to plan a team building event at night in Memphis though. I'm thinking an Escape Room or BBQ tasting tour if I can find one that operates at night.

Elko is in the middle of nowhere Nevada (Gold Mine). Trying to decide if I want to fly into Salt Lake City and make the 3 hour drive to see the scenery or just fly into Elko and gamble at the local casinos.

Don't know much about either place, but you do get to drive through the Salt Flats going west on I-80 from SLC.

I haven't drive from there, but always enjoy flying into SLC. It's so much different than anywhere else.

I would vote on driving. You can gamble at crappy casinos all over the place.

That's what I noticed when I looked at the map. I think I may do that just to experience it. I don't mind a 3 hour drive twice in my life. Plus the only outbound flights from Elko are at 5am and like 8pm.

I haven't been to the one in Charleston, but I've been to Butcher & Bee for dinner in Nashville and it was outstanding. Their original location is in Charleston and I'm sure it's just as good.

Blytheville is pretty terrible to be honest. Run down, dirty, very little to do, etc. I'd plan on staying in Memphis and making the short, easy, drive to Blytheville. Any specific questions about Blytheville area?

That's basically what everyone tells me.

Any good places to cater in food for a group of 15-20?

Strawberry’s BBQ in Holcomb, MO. Good food. Have used a few times myself. Surprisingly good crawfish place in Paragould, AR (Delta Crawfish). Not sure if they cater. Wilson Cafe in Wilson, AR. Good food, close by. Not sure about catering either. What day of the week are you looking and are you looking at having it in Blytheville or willing to travel a few miles? I wouldn’t have anything from Blytheville honestly.

We're having a team of 15-20 at the plant there in Blytheville from Tuesday-Thursday. Will have to bring in food for lunch each day. Hard to get everyone out for lunch.

I’d go with Strawberry’s in Holcomb for sure. Good food
