Need Suggestion: Cabin Rental

I've been searching for a while now and I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. The wife and I are looking for a cabin/cottage/camp/etc... for a weekend trip. We're looking to sit on the porch looking out on some scenery. Secluded would be nice, but not a must. Away from the hustle and bustle for sure. We're looking to go in February during Mandi Gras.
We've looked at Gatlinburg, around Denver, Hot Springs, around Charlotte, etc.. but really want to cut through it all and get the Travel Board's suggestion.
Thanks in advance!

Where are you located?
Did Hot Springs over NYE. Probably won’t go back, not a lot to do in town.
What sbout Wimberly, Tx are?

Beavers Bend in SE OK, near Broken Bow, is scenic and not far from Louisiana. The state park has cabins, and there are private cabins in the area too.
It is very popular, but we went one time at New Years and had the park pretty much to ourselves.

I used to hike near Hot Springs. It was a great place to relax after a few days in the woods. I used to stay in one if the older hotels in town. Cool place, but I don’t remember the name.
Beavers Bend sounds interesting. I’ll look into it, thanks!

Texas Hill Country. I suggest Wimberley. Theres the Blanco river, Loneman Creek, Cypress Creek. Good views in the hill country. 7.5 hour ride from B.R. Also a few parks in the area to check out. Jacobs well, Hamilton Pool, and Guadeloupe River State Park.

Wildhorse inn
We were in The Meadowcreek Cabin
Wife and I stay a week here last month, the place was awesome and we'll return again for sure. About an hour and half drive out of Denver in the Fraser Valley.
