I won one of my pay leagues in Fantasty Football, humble brag, and I am getting a 4k TV delivered next week. I have not looked at the X much since I do not have a 4k, but with that changing, is the Xbox one X worth it? After selling my Xbox one S, and left over gift cards, getting an X will cost me less then 100 bucks or so. Thoughts? and TIA

Since you’ll have the 4K tv to go along with it, absolutely

You will notice more of a difference in visuals if your 4K TV also has HDR 10 (high dynamic range). Regardless your games will load faster and run better.

I'd say so. I upgrade from the OG xbone and it has been awesome.

Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna test out the X just to see if the graphics are THAT much more noticeable than the Pro. Just make sure you have the right 4K TV for this.

I upgraded from the s to the x. The improvement was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I don't think my eyes are as sensitive because I really don't think I can tell the difference between 30fps or 60fps. I was getting the console mainly to see if load times were better. But I can tell a big difference in A.C. Origins every thing looks amazing and you can see forever.

I'm also rocking the LG c7

Yea I’ve got the B7. Battlefront 2 looks amazing. Pubg looked pretty good too. I need to check out AC at some point.

I don’t know if it is the games or what, but I have noticed some of the HDR games look a little dim or dull sometimes. Hard restart usually fixes it. The depth in colors though is what is most impressive. PLAYED pubg on the One S and the difference is nuts. The one s, the greens are almost cartoonish compared. The game is much brighter, but not in a good way. The 4K hdr darks are much darker. Definitely took some getting used to.

Yea it’s definitely worth it. I have the pro but since I got the x I just use the pro for exclusives and multi plats for the x. It’s like night and day on the multi plays imo.

I realize t’s not the same, but a month ago i traded in my PS4 for a PS4 Pro. It was 100% worth it to me. Faster game loads, 4K visuals, i can actually hear my tv without having to turn the volume way up to compete with the loud-arse fan that the original PS4 had.

From what i gather, similar benefits for getting an XBox one X.

If i’m not mistaken, the Xbox one X will also play 4K blu rays. Pretty sweet deal as those blu ray players still run about $200 bucks for a decent brand.

Don't know if you've run into it much with the C7, but as I mentioned above with the B7, there have been some darkening/dimming issues in the HDR game mode. Doing some research, a lot of it is due to how LG decided to update their concept for the HDR game mode setting. They said the best way to improve the issue is to increase the dynamic range.

I got the 4k TV last night, does have HDR, and I noticed a difference on just playing the S. COD WW2 just seem seemed smooother and cripser. If that is any indication on how much the X will be better, I can't wait to get it lol.

It is a huge difference. It really is. Pubg on the x vs the s (non 4k/hdr) is night and day. It is literally like going from xbox one to early 360. The S on 4k/hdr is pretty close but still not the same.

What TV did you get?

Samsgung 65" Curved, 6500 series. Found it for a nice price and the wife wanted a curved TV. so far so good, had to do a few tweaking on the settings for color/picture. I do like the autodetect feature on the TV. It knew what device was plugged into where.

Very nice. Yea any type of auto detection is very useful. That samsung is awesome. I finally got my LG B7 tweaked to looking like it should. The HDR Game Mode they completely ruined with a recent update. Makes all the HDR games waaaaay to dark/dim. They have gotten a ton of complaints. Just switched it to HDR Standard and it looks much better. Turned off a bunch of extra options to help reduce the input lag and get it closer to the game mode. Picture looks incredible though.
