I'm pretty sure some people in this thread think that CHS was punting and the punter muffed the snap and it rolled into the end zone behind him and JC recovered it, and then CHS got another 1st down from their 20.
To clarify for the retarded... JC punted the ball to CHS, whose returner muffed the catch, and the ball rolled into the endzone, becoming a dead ball and a touchback, giving the ball to CHS from their 20, as if in college it had gone into the endzone untouched. That's the difference in the rules.

Jeff was saying he disagreed witha rule but call was correct he was also correcting a fan that said because it was touched twice it was no longer a muff.

Crazy rule. But hey, every sport has them.
As others have said, if you muff the punt , just "try" to recover and "accidentally " bat the ball into the ends zone.
