Before last night's game, we averaged 6.3 penalties/game with only 1 coming in double digits (13 vs Detroit). The 2nd highest all season was 8 vs Miami the week prior.

But here are the previous 5 games, not including last night. 3 most recent ones pretty lopsided, considering the fact they tend to have more penalties than us yet we get called for not just 1-2 more but something like 4+ more per game.

The averages are not including that game:
Detroit @ NO - 2016
Detroit 6, NO 10
- Averaged 6/game
- Detroit averaged 6.73/game all season

NO @ KC - 2016
NO 10, KC 4
- Averaged 6/game
- KC averaged 7.4/game all season

NO @ TB - 2015
NO 12, TB 8
- Averaged 7.87/game
- TB averaged 9/game all season

NO @ Carolina
NO 4, Carolina 6
- Averaged 5.07/game
- Carolina averaged 6/game all season

NO @ NYJ
NO 9, NYJ 8
- Averaged 6.73/game
- NYJ averaged 6.67/game all season

good work, I always think of it like a strike zone. It might vary in size among umps but as long as they call it evenly both ways that's the nature of the game. The problem is, like last night, when they seem to make ticky tack calls one way and then let clear cut violations slide on the other side.

No excuses but it sure felt we were playing and atl AND the refs.

Man, that's not what I'd call evidence worthy of a court of law, but it sure is suggestive of something
