Did the Big 10 have to hire people to fill the empty seats at the game tonight again?

At the first Big 10 championship game a few years ago,I think they actually paid people to go to the game and occupy the vast empty seats.

I think last year was a fluke if it happened. Highly doubtful tonight, but maybe due to fans not wanting to spend a couple thousand bucks on a weekend when you can load up for playoffs/bowl game. MSU tends to represent well there when they qualify because it is a good straight shot few hour drive from EL.

They probably want it inside. It's Indy or Detroit for that footprint.

Yeah, and it's the most neutral location. Indy is great for this. Nobody wants to go to fricking Soldier Field in early December to see this type of game. Well, at least my pussy arse doesn't.
