my favorite part about when boybands are brought up in threads is when bros who lived through that era purposely pretend to have zero knowledge of which singers were apart of which band and purposely assign songs to boybands they know for a fact didn’t sing them. it’s one of the funniest case of masculine insecurity you’ll ever see.

It’s a shame some people will take advantage of this media frenzy to not only ruin peoples’ lives, but far more importantly, discredit legitimate rape and harassment claims.

Why do all these rape and harassment claims come in bunches and 30 years later? You would think it be a good idea to report this immediately. There used to be a time when you could grab a girl's arse or attempt to eat her out and one of two things would happen. She would like it and you would be in the clear or she would turn around and smack the shite out of you and walk away. Now you so much as look a bitch the wrong way it's rape or harassment. This country is going straight to hell.

I am 40 years old. I have heard of the Backstreet Boys and remember them being teen girl popular. It wasn't until about a year ago when Nick Carter was on Dancing With the Stars that I knew who he was or could ID him in a photo. Only from watching DWTS with my wife and daughters. Even after that, I still could not confidently name a single song BSB put out without Google.

Her story gave me my own flashbacks. It was too much like my rape story to not be true. I believe her 100 perfect. There is no gain for her besides telling others it’s okay to come out too. I’m sure many more stories will be coming out about Nick. Men do what Nick did not realizing it was rape- that’s the thing.
