Tonight we see a young LSU team getting a learning experience from a very good team.

Tomorrow we will see if they can use this experience and bounce back.

A 2-1 showing and 3rd place finish in this tournament with wins over Michigan & Marquette would be a huge accomplishment.

Geaux Tigers!

LSU isn't beating Marquette without Sampson.

And Sampson may be out a long time.

Lol...

They are 17-20 year olds. They could play 70 games in 70 days. What kind of fricking ignorant assessment is that?

Yeah I was wondering if we wouldn’t shoot well with our first back to backs without fresh legs

Marquette played 2 consecutive days too. Do they drink different Gatorade than LSU?

Our guys just don’t have the touch tonight and ND is hitting everything

So many in and outs for us tonight
Got us down early

Marquette can fill it up, but we should get more open shots tomorrow.

Marquette is another efficient offensive team (though not on the level of ND). LSU had no energy tonight and the peremiter defense was just really, really bad, thereby leading to countless open looks.

I just want to see effort and a better commitment to keeping guys from just driving at will. I think LSU got a little overexcited last night. This will bring them back down to earth a bit. That's not necessarily a bad thing if the can use tonight to improve.

Offensive game plan was awful tonight too.

WTF was that? Pass around perimeter 2-3 times and either turn it over or launch a brick.

Ugly, ugly, ugly.

I’m fricking pumped dude. Let’s go. I can’t wait to see how they respond to this. 2-1 would be phenomenal still

Exactly. So we got our butts kicked - now I wanna see how they respond. Hopefully Sampson's injury isn't as bad as it looked on replay. This team has a long way to go before they can run with the elites.

Keep fightin' and stick with the process!

They can’t settle for just the Michigan win. In two days, this team has been very high and very low. It’s all part of the process. Honestly, all I want to see against Marquette is the same energy from Monday night. If that is there, we will have ourselves an entertaining game from start to finish.

Marquette is no slouch, but they aren’t at the level of ND either. 2-1 against those 3 schools would be a great kickoff to the season.
