UPDATE: 10/17 Former LSU student (and my relative) on The Voice

He just went through the first televised round

There are about 45,000 people that audition and only 60-70 make it to the televised auditions and only 48 of those make it through.
So he is already close to 1 out of 1000 (of people who think they can sing) and we are all super excited for him. He plays a lot in the New Orleans area and some in BR. It wouldn't surprise me if you started seeing his name more with the exposure this show is giving him.
