Think the $12m buyout is a lot?

The 2016 Citrus Bowl payout was $4.25m last year. We keep Orgeron for the entire contract we'd be losing more money just from not going to those bowl games than we would paying his buyout. This isn't even counting the massive revenue loss they'd receive if we go 3-9 this year.

hey buddy,

That's not how bowl payouts work in a conference.

The team that's going gets their expenses paid. Whatever is left over is divided among ALL the teams from the conference unless they are on bowl probation.

LSU will not lose out on bowl revenue whether we go bowling or not.

We revenue share bowl money.

Alexander didn't want to fire Les Miles bc of public perception concerning his buyout. Does anybody think doubling up will be okay with Alexander?

That’s how the old system worked. It’s changed bro even with the TV revenue share.
