I renewed my lease because I'm a glutton for punishment. Rent is increasing a bit. The office sends out a bill once a month and I didn't receive one this month so I stop by the office and request my payment information.

They gave me the amount with my new rent.

This morning, I get an email with my former rent on it.

So, what do I do?

What was the $ amount agreed on/listed when you renewed? Pay whatever that amount is as that's what your lease agreement is for.

You are obligated to pay whatever you agreed to on your lease renewal. The bill with the old (incorrect) amount is just a clerical error.

Pay the lesser and if caught say you forgot as well and pay the difference. This is what you are looking to hear, now you’ve heard it.

If your lease is for the higher amount... you will get a bill for the difference if you pay the lower amount.
