Seems like hot take hack journalism considering Brennan drove us right down the field for a touchdown on his first drive.

And Gilbeau would be driving the "Brennan needs meaningful snaps, so why did they put him in the game just to hand off?" bus had they waited until the game was out of hand. It doesn't matter what any coach does. The media and fans will criticize and second guess every decision.

First off Etling wasn't benched. That would imply he was sucking and we put in someone better. If O is thinking like me....with this o-line, Etling is bound to get injured. If so, you want Brennan to be able to come in with some meaningful snaps under his belt so we don't end up with another Jarrett Lee. I totally agree with the decision. Etling knows he is the starter.
