My Fitness Pal vs. Lose it

It seems like everyone on here uses MFP and no one has even mentioned Lose it. I found Lose it to be far superior to MFP. Am I missing something?

I literally just switched from MFP to Lifesum last night for 3 reasons, none of which have to do which the intended functionality.
1. MFP is a battery drain for some reason. Probably because they havent really updated/optimized the app in quite a while.
2. Lifesum has a widget for my Gear Fit 2 with the newest update.
3. The Lifesum GUI is less cluttered and is faster.
We'll see in a week if the switch is permanant

I've used both, as well as the FitBit App. Lose It was easier to log food with, but I found it lacking on exercise. MFP syncs with my weight and exercise logs from Fitbit. Plus it has been years since I used Lose It. It may be better now, but I've pretty much settled in on 3 apps for tracking things. Fitbit for the steps, I also use Strava for running/biking, and MFP for meals.

everyone uses mfp simply for the database. I use it mainly because I have the paid version and it is easy to give me a good snap shot quickly of cals/macros/macro%

If I didn't have a 504-day streak in MFP I'd probably be using Cron-o-Meter
