He's looked good for the most part. The last gif where he threw to a receiver with 4 defenders around him wasn't the best decision even though it ended in a completion. He had other options including tucking and running it for the first down. I'm confident he will work on the small things and continue to progress. We don't need him to throw for 250+ a game in order to win. Being efficient and making smart decisions is all we need him to do. So far so good. Next weekend will be a true test.

Sullivan's catch over two defenders made it move.

He waits too long to pull the trigger. The receivers outrun his range and have to slow down and wait on the ball thus negating the separation that they built.

I noticed this happened later in the game. The deep balls early on were on target. Once the game got out of hand, I think he lost focus. The last gif above is a good example. When the game was close and he was focused, he was more accurate.

It occurred after he took a big hit, IIRC. Hope he's alright.

It was a good decision to throw the last pass when he did.. he just didn't have the arm strength to put it 60+ in the air. 50 is good enough

It's the 3 hops before he lets it go. He needs to make his decision and let the ball go.

On several of those throws, he waits until the last second to look at his eventual target...either he's going through progressions, or just "looking off" the Defense, but either way, I like it.

ETA: Thanks for doing this, OP.

Biggest takeaway for me this week was him going through some progressions and looking off safeties.

We haven't seen that in a long long time around here
