re: Tremont Waters (Top 10 PG) Signs with LSU!

With the signing of Waters are there any other spots available for '18 ? If so, how many ? Can't be more than one or two.

I have watched Wade coach just about every game at VCU the last two years. He knows his stuff. He took a team with a 6-6 center and power forward to the tourney in back to back years and neither squad was that good of a 3 point shooting team. Two years ago they lost to Oklahoma in Oklahoma City (basically a road game) by 4 points after winning a first round game. Oklahoma went to the Final 4. He was an assistant coach on VCU's Final 4 team in 2011. He knows how to get the most out of his players if they will buy into his system. He is a demanding guy but fair. If you work hard and have a good attitude you will play. He regularly uses 9 or 10 guys so there is no lack of opportunities. He will be better than either Johnny or Trent. And maybe better than Brady. He will win. I guarantee it.

I saw virtually every game Will coached the past two years. I guarantee that if you don't buy into playing D you won't play. He won't hesitate to sit someone down for not playing D. I saw it time and again at VCU. Blakeney would have had a really hard time playing for Will. He regularly uses 9-10 guys so everyone gets a fair shake. Hardly anyone ever plays more than 30 minutes because of the relentless style of play. He helped get VCU to the Final 4 in 2011. LSU will be in the Sweet 16 within 3 years. Book it.
